Authenticity and storage
Number of questions: 6
Does the product come with a certificate?
All bars in our offering come in original factory packaging with a manufacturer’s certificate. Depending on the manufacturer and denomination, certification details may form part of the blister packaging or a separate document. Ducats do not have factory blister packaging and are supplied in Dunav Gold packaging. Every product, including ducats, also comes with a Dunav Gold certificate.
What does inclusion on the LBMA Good Delivery List mean?
It is a refinery’s status within the LBMA standards for the London market. It does not mean the LBMA has issued an individual certificate for every small bar made by that manufacturer. Check the manufacturer, the individual product and its accompanying documentation.
Does every gold bar or coin have a serial number?
Markings depend on the product. Many bars have serial numbers, while coins usually have no individual number. Where a number appears on both the bar and its packaging, check that they match. A serial number alone is not proof of ownership.
Should I open the factory packaging?
Keep the original packaging and documentation. Before opening it, check whether doing so would change the examination procedure or future buyback terms. If you have doubts about a product, request professional examination rather than attempting home tests that could damage it.
How should I plan gold storage?
Before collection, choose a secure storage location and decide who will have access. If considering a safe deposit box or insurance, check the costs, limitations and written terms. A safe deposit box does not automatically mean its contents are insured.
Which documents should I keep?
Keep the invoice, accompanying certificate and original packaging. They serve different purposes and may be important during later examination or sale. For a specific buyback, check in advance what the gold buyer requires.
Basics and choosing gold
Number of questions: 6
What is investment gold?
Investment gold includes gold bars and certain gold coins that meet the prescribed fineness criteria and other requirements. Each product page clearly states its weight, fineness, manufacturer and packaging details.
Is investment gold subject to VAT in Serbia?
The supply and import of gold meeting the requirements of Article 36b of the VAT Law are exempt from VAT. This is not a general exemption for every gold object or all precious metals. Our guide provides an explanation and a link to the Serbian Tax Administration.
Should I choose a bar or a ducat?
First compare the fine gold content and price, then the format, packaging and purpose. Bars offer a choice of weights, while a ducat’s design may also matter when choosing a gift. Neither format is automatically the best choice for every buyer.
What does a fineness of 999.9/1000 mean?
It means the alloy contains 99.99% gold. Fineness describes its composition, while weight describes the mass of the product. When comparing coins and bars of different finenesses, compare the price per gram of fine gold.
One larger bar or several smaller bars?
A larger bar often has a lower price per gram, while several smaller bars allow you to sell only part of your holding later. Compare the actual price difference between the two combinations and consider how useful that flexibility would be.
How many grams are in an ounce of gold?
Precious metals use the troy ounce: 31.1034768 g. It differs from an ordinary ounce. When comparing charts and product prices, align both the unit of measurement and the currency.
Collection and support
Number of questions: 7
Where can I collect my order?
Orders placed on this Website are collected from Dunav Gold head office or a confirmed Dunav or Exclusive Change location. See the collection location directory.
At independent dealers, you buy directly from the selected exchange office. Availability, payment and collection are arranged directly with that dealer, rather than through a Dunav Gold online order.
Does every location hold all products in stock?
No. A location appearing on the map does not confirm stock of every product. For orders placed on this site, the Dunav Gold team confirms availability and the agreed collection location within the Dunav or Exclusive Change network.
For a direct purchase from an independent dealer, check availability with that exchange office before visiting. Contact details are in the directory of locations and dealers.
When can I collect my chosen product?
For orders placed on this site, the lead time depends on the individual product, displayed availability and your chosen Dunav or Exclusive Change location. Wait for confirmation from the Dunav Gold team before visiting.
With an independent dealer, arrange the purchase and collection time directly with them.

Can I choose gold as a gift?
Yes. Consider the individual product’s design, weight, price and packaging details. If presentation is important to you, check what is included before buying.
Do I buy directly from Dunav Gold at an independent dealer?
An independent dealer is the seller from whom you buy gold, while Dunav Gold supplies products from its range. Current selling prices are the same, but you arrange the purchase, payment and collection directly with your chosen dealer. The product also comes with a Dunav Gold certificate when purchased this way.
Dunav and Exclusive Change locations operate differently: you can collect an order placed on this site there. Explore locations and dealers and choose the purchase route that suits you.
Prices and payment
Number of questions: 6
How is the selling price calculated?
The price reflects movements in gold on the international market, exchange rates, product weight, manufacturer and the market costs of the particular denomination. Website prices are updated automatically according to predefined rules.
Why is a bar’s price different from the spot price?
The spot price is a market reference for the metal. When buying a bar, you pay for a specific physical product, including manufacturing, packaging, distribution and commercial terms. The difference is called a premium and is not the same as the seller’s net profit.
How can I pay for my order?
Following final confirmation of acceptance, you can pay by bank transfer, payment slip or IPS QR code using the instructions provided. Bank payment is due within three hours of the final confirmation and instructions being sent.
Cash payment on personal collection is available at Dunav Gold head office, Hadži Ruvimova 2, at an agreed appointment. If purchasing from an independent dealer, arrange the payment method directly with them.
When does the payment deadline start?
After ordering, you receive an acknowledgement of receipt. Our team first checks availability and delivery arrangements. Bank payment is due within three hours of the final confirmation of acceptance and payment instructions being sent.
If items, quantities or the delivery deadline need to change, we send you an offer to accept without requiring you to place a new order. Cash at head office is paid at an agreed appointment, to which the three-hour deadline does not apply.
Does investing in gold guarantee a profit?
No. Gold prices can fall, and ownership alone produces no interest or dividend. Your result depends on purchase and buyback prices, exchange rates and possible storage costs. Before buying, consider how long you can hold the gold.
Would I receive the shop price when selling my gold?
The shop price is the product’s selling price. To sell your own gold, you need a specific buyback offer and its terms. Do not assume it will equal the selling price or the spot price.
